This International Women’s Day ♀️🚺, I’ve decided to show support towards the amazing Briana Banos AKA creator of Preventable: Protecting Our Largest Organ – @preventable_doc. For those who don’t know, PREVENTABLE is the first-ever TSW documentary produced back in 2019.
Briana has dedicated these past 8 years to advocating for the community, embracing the cause, and raising awareness the best way she knows how.
She is currently in pre-production for a sequel to Preventable, called Still Preventable. It’ll be expanding on the original project, bringing in new voices from both the TSW community and medical professionals who wish to elevate the understanding of atopic disease and Topical Steroid Withdrawal.
I’ve always preached that topical steroid withdrawal, plain and simple, needs more research not only for its sufferers but to stop it from potentially hurting others in our skin community. Briana is bridging that gap by raising awareness and taking it to the top!
