Thanks to @EpadermUk for joining the movement of skincare brands who are showing the realities of itchy skin conditions rather than solely focusing on a before & after narrative which pushes unrealistic beauty standards.
Epaderm has chosen to showcase real people with real skin conditions in their campaign. Asking long time users like me to come along for a really exciting campaign. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE END RESULTS!
One of my fave moments yesterday was during a testimonial / interview we went off piste and I started sharing about mental health + skin and how having products I know I can reach for to help 1). Prevent flares & 2). Grab when flares hit, I no longer suffer so badly mental health wise as I feel I have more control of my skin.
I even did a video demonstration of my little 2 step hand eczema routine. For those who don’t know;
Step 1; wash hands with Luke warm water / after bathing leave skin a little damp
Step 2; use the cream as your primary hydrator
Step 3; then add a lil bit of their ointment to seal it in
Step 4; cover your hand with a cotton sock / glove (bedtime or if staying in for a few hours a) or compression gloves (if going out)
I found this mix to be a great little combo for ensuring not only I had created a protective barrier for my skin I had also helped hydrate it and this heal it ❤️🩹 nothing wild or crazy just simply a great little combo for extra hydration xox

Forever making friends and being presented these amazing opportunities all because of something that used to make me feel isolated, depressed and tbh like I couldn’t do a lot. Now I keep saying YES & I CAN, rather than reveling in self doubt and overthinking . GROWTH✨
