‘This is the kind of eczema 16 year old me would cover up with foundation’

1–2 minutes

Be the person you needed to see when you were younger✨Who remembers the DREAM MATTE MOUSE days?😂😂 STORY TIME extract from a magazine article I was in⬇️

“Slapping some of the creamy foundation on my legs before PE lessons, I thought I had found the perfect camouflage, along with a pair of over-the-knee socks.

But sweat was a trigger of mine, and no matter how much of a mask I put on, by the end of the lesson I would end up a shade of bright red. Ew, you’re so unfit, the other kids would jeer. And it made me feel really self-conscious of my body….

…I wish I had the knowledge I have now when I was younger – it may have stopped me from reaching for the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse.

At least now I can help others at the start of their skin journey, and help them love themselves, too.”

📣Why do I put every spare moment I have into @itch_n_bitch ⬇️✨

I put every spare moment I have because I know it feels to feel the lowest of lows and feel like you’ll never get better or only be able to focus on the negative what ifs instead of the positives.

I, like a lot of people was unable to talk about my condition until after I got through the worst of it but from that struggle and a lot of therapy sessions I found my voice. Therapists have long known that people who’ve had a traumatic experience feel the need to talk about what they’ve been through.

This process is called ‘social sharing’ and can take place for days, weeks, months or years after the event.

When you’re ready to share, we are here to catch you.
