2023’s main character: my hair 😂

1–2 minutes

from donating 40cm in May to then going pale pink and now auburn. I officially have 0 fear when it comes to change! Old me would be SHOOK! Who is she????

“Your hair tells a lot about you. Make sure it’s telling the right story.”

My hair is telling you that after years of hiding alopecia, eczema flares and my body, I finally feel comfortable at standing out and truly being me.

The raw authentic me, no more filters, hats or long sleeves. I am unapologetically me and if you have a problem that’s a reflection of you and not me.

Be the author of your own story, unapologetically evolving into the vibrant, fearless version of yourself. 💪✨

HAIR DYE TIPS FOR ECZEMA +SENSITIVE SKIN;

  • ✨Patch Test: Before applying any hair dye, always perform a patch test on a small area of your skin. This will help you determine if you have any adverse reactions to the dye.
  • ✨Choose gentle and hypoallergenic products: Look for hair dye specifically formulated for sensitive skin or labeled as hypoallergenic. These products usually contain fewer harsh chemicals that could trigger eczema flare-ups.
  • ✨Moisturize and protect your scalp: Before applying the dye, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly/Epaderm or a coat of moisturizing conditioner to protect your scalp from potential irritation. This can create a protective barrier and minimize contact of the dye with sensitive skin.

P.s. bought the hair dye on @amazonuk from @clairol_uk_ire Nice’n Easy Crème, Natural Looking Oil Infused Permanent Hair Dye, 6R Light Auburn.

Dm me for any other brand recs I’ve found to be more gentle !!
